1320wayne Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 I had two projects in the works with the Atlanta show in October in mind. Unfortunately there wasn't time to devote to getting both finished. This is the build that will have to be completed later on down the road. An original MPC 75 Dodge pickup with the drag boat from the Monogram 65 Chevy stepside combo kit. I shortened the bed and I am scratchbuilding a modern, lowered chassis setup. The base chassis is from the Chezoom full detail kit and much of the rest is scratchbuilt, 3D printed and kitbashed. The boat has a 3D printed engine with some added scratchbuilt pieces and lots of extra details to come. The truck and boat are dressed up with custom homemade graphics. 6
espo Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Like the flame graphics, what type of mask did you use?
Radretireddad Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Wow! The scope of that project is astounding! Great work as usual.
DJMar Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 That is so awesome! The flames really set the whole package off. Really nice paint and bodywork. I don't know much about boats, but that engine sure is impressive. Makes me wish I had held on to at least one or two of those Dodge pickup annual kits from the mid-70s.
