MPC PaddyWagon showrod rebuilder

I got this MPC PaddyWagon awhile back, I  believe it was part of a trade. I got it all apart and only casualty was the fan belt assembly. The front axle was missing a spindle so I'm using a 40 Ford front axle. Rear tires are resin wrinkle wall slicks I made copies of. The other big change is I'm going to make it a CocaCola Showrod truck. TECHMAN (DJ Moore)from this forum sent me the coke cases and and many sheets of decals. The decals I opted to use are from the 40 Willys. Colors will be yellow and red, no chrome.

Took a short break from building and now getting back into the swing of things. Everything is in primer and body painted. I opted for an early yellow and red scheme I found pictures of. The yellow I used is lighter then the yellow I found in pictures and the red is darker than I found in pictures but it is a Phantom  CocaCola ShowRod. None of the parts are chromed , so I'll use gold paint or gold foil, and some silver paint and or chrome foil.

After painting the body twice, first light yellow then a darker yellow same yellow as the pictured Coke cooler. Im going to paint this for a 3rd time, I even had the Coke decals on it, just was not happy with the body.. everything else is pretty much done...again.😃
