Steele Wheels Motor Museum, Halifax, NS, Canada - November 22, 2024 :  1934 Chrysler Airflow streetrod, 
Built by Honest Charlie's Speed Shop for Howard Coker (Coker Tire). Car is powered by a GM 350 V8 and 700R4 transmission, Heidt's front suspension

Chrysler has often been ahead of it time in styling vehicles, this is one of them. Just looking at this one, those headlights would look cool on a 49-51 Ford custom or maybe a 55-56 Chevy custom. They are just a bit different than the 55 Buick headlight units so many customizers used.

Always loved that design. Too bad peeps did not like it when introduced. Too radical for the time but ultra safe design. 

 

Here is footage dumped off cliff and then being started and driven away!

I have a stock 1/18 die cast (still in the box) and one that was played with (missing bumpers) that will get the street rod treatment....eventually
