chris coller
I have some A/N fittings that I want to strip of the Tamiya acrylic clear red and blue. What would be best to strip it off with out corrosion to the aluminum fittings, Super clean does not work. Anyone have any insight to my query? Zoom Zoom
Rubbing alcohol, Windex, Tamiya acrylic thinner, diluted ammonia...Tamiya acrylic is easy to remove w/o using heavy artillery (Super Clean or oven cleaner).
VW Dave
While experimenting with acrylics lately, I've had great results with 91% isopropyl alcohol.......the green buggy is on its 3rd paint job , but the rubbing alcohol made the stripping portion of the project the easy part.
