Don They have a bunch of rental electric bikes around here (Syracuse, NY) and I see them left just about everywhere when I'm in town. I don't pay much attention as I'm outside the city in the country. I would think they would have the same problem... Or just some clown even trying to ride one in a snow storm could get themselves killed. We were averaging 10 feet of snow a year, but that's been a bit less the last few years. 1

She leaves it plugged in day and night, while it's raining even! I would not want to pay her electric bill......... It should turn the charging part off or maybe go to a trickle charge mode, shouldn’t just keep dumping juice at a set rate until being unplugged.
