Recently found the actual very first kit I put together, Revell's Snap Tite 1957 Chevy Bel Air. 10 years ago I put it together just like it was depicted on the box, no trim painting, no grill black wash, applied the decals, never cut the burrs off of some pieces, and it looked kinda dumb. BUT, as 2024 came to a close I figured I'll re-build it, and so I used all the skills I learned building kits and gave it a two-tone treatment, as well as detailing everything. Changed the wheels to the ones my 1960 Impala came with, which proved problematic, but they're good now. Re-completed January 1st, 2025.

Nice, I have one of these kits, and I also used the wheels for another build. Yours looks really good in that two tone theme, well done Nathan.

Cheers,

David. 😎👍
