Italianhorses Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Yet another small scale 1/43 build from old AMR kit - and another restoration. This was once painted an awful yellow/brown combo! Yuck! Fixed it up and made it look classy! :-) Enjoy. Thanks! Alex 1

MrObsessive Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Aaaahhh.............that black is soooooo nice and smmmoooooth! Not so easy to do let alone on a 1/43 scale model......... Beautiful job as usual Alex! 1/43's are neat for blowing out the cobwebs!
george 53 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I for one have NEVER EVEN SEEN that Ferrari! I've seen the roadster, but NEVER a coupe. NICE CAR!
Jairus Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Alex... I just have to ask. Do you build anything... ANYTHING besides Ferrari's?

Lots of polishing Bill - Zero 2-part lacquers are simply fantastic.
Italianhorses Posted April 25, 2009 Author Posted April 25, 2009 Alex... I just have to ask. Do you build anything... ANYTHING besides Ferrari's? Well.....yeah....not much though. I built a Porsche last month :-) And working on a BMW bike. There :-) Stop it! Just stop! Oh, but I'm having so much fun! Thanks all!
Modelmartin Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Beautiful job on the coupe. I love seeing non-red Ferraris! AMR kits are deserving of their reputation. They build so well and look so good. Their vac-form windows fit like a glove compared to most other kits. It has been a long time since I built one. Mr. Ruf has done kits for a number of other outfits. I recently built a Pirahna kits Mini ACV 30 which he mastered. I hope to acquire a Pirahna Rover Mini - It has engine detail - in 1/43rd!!!

george 53 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 WoW Harry, till you said something I never looked at his name! YES, by all means Alex, PLEASE post more pics. Your Ferrari build in the past couple of issues was GREAT! I REALLY enjoyed it, it WAS just a fantastic build!!!
