Rescued customs Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) Hello guys….. I’m Nick (not new but never posted on the 12 yrs been part this page ) this week I decided since the wife and son are getting into scale models and dioramas ide get back into building since have been away from the bench for 8 yrs or so …. Anyways nuff bout me this is a project I plan to take to some contest and such so here it goes…. Monogram 55 Chevy kit ….. revell 426 hemi and most other parts are from parts bin …. First off made the front clip then added the gussets on fire wall and constructed the rest the firewall… then clipped the front frame section and reconstructed and scratch build the straight axle and leaf springs …. Then decided the molded in exhaust had to go so repaned the floor then realized the trunk pans were wrong so redid those …. Built the rear ladder bars and added the 9inch rear end and added a few frame mods sourced from some reference material to replicate the Meyers frame of Blasphemi …. Built the flip nose section and assembled and painted the engine and built a throttle body assembly ….. this project is the 2019 drag week version as Blasphemi has had many changes over the yrs ….. hope y’all enjoy I’ll be posting as progress goes over the next few days as there is a lot left to do built and modify to make it a worthy build Edited January 24 by Rescued customs 6

Steamboat Posted January 24 Posted January 24 One of my Holy Grail builds! Nice work on the chassis. The molded in exhaust was what has prevented me from getting any momentum on this one. I like how you fixed it. Are you going to add a post behind the door? 1
Rescued customs Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Yes I will I should started with a post car but hey I had this kit figured why not use it the revell kit would prop been a better start
