Nick Winter Posted November 5, 2009 Author Posted November 5, 2009 looks good but wheres the genral lee Thanks and it's more of a Tennesee style shine still not Georgia Nick, Ya got me dreaming of a long pull of the smooth stuff. Good work! It would never have crossed my mind to do anything like that. Keep your imagination in high gear.... Later, Charlie LOL, I don't know it came to me after watching moon runners
LUKE'57 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Moonrunners, I haven't thought about that one in a long time. I remember when they filmed that one just up the road from here. The original General Lee wasn't named that but was named Traveller, for General Lee's horse. I didn't know Mr. Rushing but was friends with his sister.

Well it's the Dukes of Hazzard before the Dukes, it and Smokey and the Bandit are actually what paved the way for the Dukes of hazzard 5 years after Moonrunners and 2 years after Smokey and the Bandit. Hense the major similarities between Moonrunners and The Dukes of Hazzard, like uncle Jesse, Sheriff roscoe Coltrane, there being two nefuews and a neice. And James Best (Roscoe P. Coltrane) actually tought Burt Reynolds and tought in Mr. Reynold's acting school. and if you ever watch early episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard there's a lot of Burt Reynolds reference's.
LUKE'57 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I know you're not trying to tell me what Moonrunners and the Dukes of Hazzard are all about. Maybe you didn't understand when I said that I knew the sister of the man that Moonrunners was based on.

Maybe you didn't understand when I said that I knew the sister of the man that Moonrunners was based on. I know I was just saying that it was directed by the creator of the Dukes Of Hazzard, and that there were many similarities carried over from Moonrunners to the Dukes of Hazzard.
