mr moto Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Here's a really simple tool I made for myself a couple years ago and it just now ocurred to me that maybe other folks could use this idea. It's just a rectangle of foam rubber with a hole cut in the middle but it makes it SO much nicer to work on the underside of a model or the inside of the body before assembly.
MikeMc Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 I hold the body in the foam with a CLEAN polish rag...the softfoam always picks up one sharp chunk of crud and take that cutout and support the frame/chassis for wheel detailing
FujimiLover Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 From the title I thought you meant YOU WERE UPSIDE! LOL! Seriously, great idea as it prevents your fresh paint from being scratched up!
James W Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 That is so stinkin' simple! I'm gonna rip out the tiny grease rack I built!
