Original issue 1959 Ford Galaxie convertible built-up . A before picture from back then just to show what I started with

I started this one long ago . 8 -9 years maybe . I Got it painted then had issues with painting the interior. SO,,,, back in the box it went

Interior has been stripped and now in Tamiya white primer for a base line

Well,,, now that I have more time on my hands.( and a new airbrush I want to try out )  Its time to give this one another chance for the case

Ive attached a  link to a 1/1 car to show my ultimate goal for a finished product

1959 Ford Galaxie Skyliner Convertible for Sale at Auction - Mecum Auctions

Lets see if I can pull off the interior colors ,, Wish me luck

Interior has been stripped and now in Tamiya white primer for a base line

Edit, Looks I started this in 2017

Well, Interior is about done.

Not to shabby for mostly freehand

I can live with it

Same colors as body , only semi gloss clear on interior, flat clear of top boot

Black Flocking for the carpet

Bmf work is done.

THAT was fun.

Ok....not really

Interesting how much difference the color looks in or out of sunlight

The interior and the exterior of the body are the same exact color .  Only difference. Body has a gloss clear on it and interior has a semi gloss clear

In natural light up close

It definitely has a pinkish cast to it.
