I love all 3 but especially this one. The splashy colors of the decals over the darker body really gives it the Panamericana vibe.

Well done sir!

Thanks, my friend - I'm looking forward to see your upcoming Ferrari CP participant (Phil Hill-Richie Ginther ?)

Looking good, Helmut!

Thanks, Tim - still a few details need some attention, then it will be put into the diecast section.

They look nice. You've changed my mind about whether they could look racy enough. Nice detailing and decaling. Great job.

Thanks Donato - reworking diecasts often is the only (cheap) possibility when there is no kit available.

Hello, Scudetto, here are some interesting info to join:  a race chart with    cars door number/ car maker/ chassis number/ car colour/  car Team/ drivers

A leter to a Greek modeller about the Panamericana Alfas , and a RAL colour chart with the Brown for my chosen #251 car, that I painted with RAL8008, very similar with the colour you used on your brown car, perhaps a LECHLER catalog conversion to RAL, I don't remember... and I found  a second car, already painted in a matt dark grey (a primer?) perhaps to make the "bigio" Ferro #265 car... I will contact Tom to see if he still has one update decal for me... now about the Jack Modelling Alfa Romeo steel wheels...

Hey Marco, you did a lot of efforts here to find out about the original colors.

My approach was more pragmatic here: I searched the web for color pics of the real cars (difficult enough !) and tried to approximate these colors using different Tamiya spray cans.

Well, isn't it what modelling is all about? Just for curiosity, these are images of very sound 1900 Alfa Romeo, but WITH IT'S ORIGINAL PAINT!...

About Jason Lupin (Mr Jack Modelling), I really do not know what to do... I am going to try again and order him two sets of Alfa Romeo wheels, to see what happens...

Before Jason printed these wheels for me, I thought of making a mold from the spare wheel (as it is without its chrome wheel cover) and casting the rims needed for this conversion.

Yes, I already tried that aproach, but after waiting about a year for a guy to make me some copies... I quit the idea... I decided to order Jason these wheels, before sending him the letter to see what happens... on the other threand some friends had contacted him recently so...
