Jürgen M. Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Congratulations Jeff! That Ford turned out so cool. You did such a clean and precise job. I think this is probably one of the most unique builds here. Something to be proud of Pal! 1
Rockford Posted August 28 Posted August 28 What a fantastic piece of work! It looks ready to go to a job. One of the forgotten workhorses. 1

You guys were the driving force behind this project without a doubt. Your absolute flawless design skills and the ability you have to set the files for Bren’s expert printing to the finest of details of all 125 pieces and your fantastic 26 page assembly sequence ‘booklet’ was top drawer stuff my friend. Not to mention the great communication you and Bren had between you both hammering out fine details. All I did was put it together. A real international team effort. Thank you both very much, this build is for you and Bren . 1

One of the forgotten workhorses. Thanks Steve. I am pleased on how it turned out, the truck itself is a bit of a challenge and with the fabulous opportunity to make it something different it shows there are all sorts ways. I hope other guys will try different ideas with this old kit. Thanks for checking in and your kind words, mate Edited Thursday at 01:53 PM by Biggu 1

I really enjoyed it and I learned a lot about the differences between resin and filament printing. Thanks for that knowledge Bren! 2
Gary Chastain Posted Thursday at 02:37 PM Posted Thursday at 02:37 PM You took a very average model kit and turned it into a very special build with your vision and the team work from this group/community was just outstanding. Just a few years ago, a build of this nature would have nearly been impossible. Well done Jeff and all your accomplices 🏆🏆🏆. And I bet you are the only builder with road oiler/tar truck. 3 1

Fantastic build. Waiting to see what's coming next.😉 Ron G Thanks for checking and the kind comments, Ron.... it does feel good, I really tried not to rush it near the end, which was difficult as I was getting to a point where I wanted it OFF my bench, I do have to say, that I am quite pleased with how it finally turned out, and how some of the little details really made it as complete as I could with out a super deep dive and a year's worth of work... it took about 5 months, and I now have a somewhat unique unit and very well detailed in my collection.... the two guys who were most involved with the design and printing, were absolutely phenomenal in their desire to get things exactly right and to proper scale and as much detail as possible.... they also had the desire to make the build as seamless and uncomplicated as they could..... it was a really fun project to liven up this old kit.... what's next...... hhhhmmmmm.... 1
