bobss396 Posted Wednesday at 03:06 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:06 PM 38 F with rain, seems to be clearing up.
89AKurt Posted Thursday at 02:08 AM Posted Thursday at 02:08 AM Like a Zonie, after a couple days of rain I'm bored with it looking like Washington state. 😅 We are long overdue, late Monsoon start, spotty which makes it a joke about the percent being 40%, which really means 40% of the area will get measurable rain to the hundreths. I'm good with a shy 1" yesterday after sunset. There is a hill with radio towers on top, clouds are low. *Could* get sno higher elevation tonight. Second day this Winter with the wood stove going, and starting in the morning not end of the day. I've been doing something related with models! In my search for landscaping rocks, have sampled some natural river sand, and used a magnifying glass to find cool pebbles, to add to my California Pit Stop diorama built years ago. Rushed that project before a GSL (not the last), was never happy with the foreground. So I'm not totally out of the picture.
John M. Posted Saturday at 07:00 PM Posted Saturday at 07:00 PM The rain has stopped and the sun is coming out. The rest of the weekend is expected to be nice.
Russell C Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Unending rain. Standing joke in this metro area is that this place is a desert, it never rains here. But in the last 3 days, the accumulation has been around an inch and three quarters according to my plastic rain gauge, and then today, add a bit over three quarters of an inch to that pile. More on the way for overnight ... 1
89AKurt Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago As of 7AM it's raining and foggy. I'm close to what Russell got, just put the glass rain gauge away because it's getting near freezing at night. Been having fires in the woodstove most of the day so I'm okay with it looking like WA state. Got a walk in a couple days ago.
