Gary Chastain Posted Thursday at 05:59 PM Author Posted Thursday at 05:59 PM Well this worked out, found these beads at Hobby Lobby and thought to give them a go. Kinda pleased how they look. Got a bit of reflective look. 3

Ron G You can get several different sizes, these are .152 diameter for the red ones, the blue ones are 4mm and 6mm. Got them at Hobby Lobby in jewelry department. I used a hobby Q-tip (very small) dipped a little bit (just the tip) in Vaseline to pick them up and set in place using two part epoxy. Put epoxy in the hole with a tooth pick, then set button in place in case I missed the location, I wouldn’t mess up the paint. This also worked well with setting my slam locks. Seemed to work but hard on patience. 3 1

BK9300 Posted Thursday at 06:38 PM Posted Thursday at 06:38 PM The 'lights' look great, Gary - amazing what can be found to add to a build! 2

Man is that ever true, from manicure department at Mejier , plumbing department at Home Depot to the jewelry or scrap booking departments at Hobby Lobby. Just feel a bit out of place in some of those departments. Make my wife go with me😉🤣😜😂 1
Gary Chastain Posted Thursday at 07:39 PM Author Posted Thursday at 07:39 PM Progress, but need more chrome with this really dark blue. 6
Gary Chastain Posted Friday at 04:49 PM Author Posted Friday at 04:49 PM Rainy day, so extra bench time. Remade the rear light bar (messed up one hole on the first one) following the theme of the headache rack. The light bar will also serve as the rear mount for the fenders. Now primer them chrome. 5
Gary Chastain Posted Friday at 05:42 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:42 PM Bought these fenders from EBay, they are 3D printed. They have very fine printer lines and the pin freckles from printing. I am surprised at how well they sanded smooth and able to remove the freckles pretty easy. the one on the left is sanded and ready for primer. Wish I knew what printer resin they used. 5
Rockford Posted Friday at 07:09 PM Posted Friday at 07:09 PM Great idea on the beads for lights. I'm might look for some myself. Nice paint jobs, just steel yourself to stay away from them now, I never can. 1

Gary Chastain Posted Friday at 07:31 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:31 PM All the pieces are made to hang the fenders, the front square axle gets pulled then trimmed to length during final installation. Test fit tomorrow and adjust if needed then Off to paint tomorrow, frame bracket semi black, fenders dark blue, rear light assembly gets chrome. 4

Gary Chastain Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago I like to be clean and organized but not a neat freak. But this is the bench today. 3
Gary Chastain Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago After a lot of work removing the 3D printer lines and clean up, the fenders have turned out well. 4
