Final update in process.

Interior as well as all sub assemblies are done.

Interior is painted with exact match color for the year of the car. Bench seat from harts Parts ( not dead nuts correct, But it  will have to do )

Flocking for carpet, seat belts added

shifter and dash mounted tach and its drive cable are from the spare parts bin

One final dry test fit.

to confirm how it sits.

I had to remove the air cleaners. Hood didnt fit..and i dont want to cut a hole in the hood and add the RO style scoop. Im trying to replicate the car from early in its life.

Next is push on to final assy , hopefully by the end of the week.

Wow!  Beautiful!  You sure do good work with my kind of cars.  Suggestions for the next build:  smaller plug wires and “connect “ the exhaust pipes to the headers.  Hard to tell from the pictures, but most people in those days had them bolted to the headers.

Thanks

The 1/1 cars ran an 8mm solid core wire, I think these ( pre wired dist from Morgan Automotive detail ) fit the bill about right

I wanted to glue the exhaust pipes to the side of the headers, like on the actual car ,,,,But I cut them off ever so slightly short to do so
