NOBLNG Posted April 25 Posted April 25 (edited) I believe the top grill is the one from the Nomad kit I am working on. And I think the bottom one may be from a Monogram ‘55 Convertible kit that was in a box of parts. Can someone confirm this? I like the bottom grill better but don’t have the top bar that mounts to the hood. The top one really has no defined mounting points and the lower one would only need a bit of filing to nestle in nicely. 🧐???? Edited April 25 by NOBLNG
Mark W Posted April 25 Posted April 25 This is what I found Greg, hope it helps. If you need more conformation, I can dig out the kits and look for you.
Mark Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Bottom one is from the newer tool Revell (ex-Monogram) convertible or hardtop '55.
NOBLNG Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Thanks Guys. I have two complete AMT Nomad kits with instructions. The Monogram convertible kit I only have the instructions and a partial chrome tree. I am missing the chrome piece from the Monogram kit that attaches to the hood. I don’t like the AMT setup, so I think I will use the Monogram grill and scratch build a piece for the hood. 1
