I have a AMT mid 70s F350 coming and a unbuilt Mobius F 100 chassis that I would like to build like a truck I had years ago so are there anyone building regular 8 foot beds for that era of Ford trucks or will I have to take a couple of those F350 beds and make one myself.  I had a 78 F 150 and would like to build one like it.

That bed is unique to the Camper Special. It is very difficult to convert it into a 'regular' 8' bed.

Best bet is to scrounge a bed from a Moebuis Longbed truck, IMHO.

I'd look for a resin or 3d bed. I've converted the camper special to regular, and it takes two beds to make it look correct. The spare tire well has to go, so the easiest way is using the inner bed from a donor. Also, for a 78, it'll need a gas door instead of a cap.

Bed outer designs are two different generations, ie moeb is '67-'72 and amt is '73-'79.

The moeb frame is very close in design to the amt frame (in 1:1, the 67-72 and 73-79 frames are almost the same)

and it's not too hard to adapt the amt axles front and rear to the moeb frame to expand your choice of wheel types.
