This stuff is #80 mesh. 3 hours ago, Kanada Kustoms said: Again, such a cool build and great execution... The grill looks great! Thanks. Cutting stuff up can be addicting.🤪
customline Posted Tuesday at 10:26 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:26 PM Well it looks like you'll have enough air flow through there, Len. I trust you used your ductulator to determine the size. 😉 1
customline Posted Wednesday at 03:19 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:19 AM Oh no....did I call you.....oh, my bad, Greg. 💩 I'm off my meds, sorry. 1

NOBLNG Posted Thursday at 06:09 PM Author Posted Thursday at 06:09 PM (edited) I managed to chop up a radiator from an AMT ‘72 Corvette and get it mounted. It is small but it is cross-flow and it is thick so it should be up to the task. I also made some trim that will eventually be wrapped around the grill. Oops…forgot to mount a fan.🥴 Edited Thursday at 06:11 PM by NOBLNG 4
customline Posted Thursday at 07:46 PM Posted Thursday at 07:46 PM (edited) Well..... as long as you keep moving, you don't need a fan 🥴 The grille looks pretty cool, Greg. I think that's gonna work. Body color? Edited Thursday at 07:48 PM by customline 1
NOBLNG Posted Thursday at 09:17 PM Author Posted Thursday at 09:17 PM Drilled holes for tail lights and cut a relief for a license plate. 3

meechum68 Posted Thursday at 10:43 PM Posted Thursday at 10:43 PM Silver metal flake! And this is looking killer bit by bit
Kanada Kustoms Posted Thursday at 11:47 PM Posted Thursday at 11:47 PM Taillight mods are looking sharp! 1

Is the new smile going to be painted ( body color ) or will you be putting braces on ? 😁 2

Is the new smile going to be painted ( body color ) or will you be putting braces on ? 😁 I’m thinking I will paint the mesh flat black and the wraparound trim body color. I did a test with my prototype grill. I tried painting it black then wiping the paint off with a Q-Tip, but it just makes it look dirty.😕 And a bit of contouring on the tail light holes and some preliminary attempts at fabbing some tail light lenses. 2
customline Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Yup. The plan sounds good. Tail lights look great with the beveled holes. 👍🏻 1
Speedpro Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) This is quite the class on custom car building. I can tell you've put alot of effort into the body. I like how you un shrouded the tail lights. Not sure about the backup lamp. I've only ever seen three red tail lamps on 1:1 cars. Something different. Great progress. The inboard pair could be ordered as backup lights as an option and became standard in ‘66 apparently. Then for ‘67 they went to a rectangular one above the plate. The third pair of light are a custom feature. 1
