Having never used it for anything myself, I'm curious what you are intending to build with it??  Might help get you a source if we know what you need it for.

Staples is a stationary store. The product is called foamboard. It an extruded polystyrene board laminated with paper. You can buy a 20”x30” board for $7.00.

DEPRON = not paper covered foamboard unless i am completely misunderstanding the sources i have researched.

(like xerox & photo copy or kleenex & facial tissue or apples & peaches)

when, if, i get a few pieces to experiment with, i think it's simply another arrow in the quiver. i believe it gets a hardening coat prior to prime & paint.

gonna find out at some point.  i've not wanted to join a RC airplane forum to ask, but it's a possibility if either here or Britmodeler fails me.

i'd like to try working with it, but don't want to buy mega size or quantity sheets.

anyone have a source?

If you want actual Depron, you can find it online, but it isn't cheap. I've seen it on eBay from a number of sellers.

You might be able to find it in smaller quantities locally if you have a well stocked RC shop nearby. They may also have suggestions for similar products that are more readily available and economical.

Ive used Ultraboard for building the walls on a garage diorama. It’s basically foamboard that has a thin (.010?) sheet of styrene on both sides.

It’s very sturdy (1/2” thick)and accepts primers and paints very well also.

Plus I have a basically unlimited access to it and styrene because I work for a graphics and printing company.

the squares made me dizzier.

🤣😂sorry about that , this is my other option.

I can flip the floor over to use either side of the base and reattach the walls.
