Unfortunately TRoG apparently stopped holding this event in 2023.

I started this model back for the group build in 2023 and life intervened the last 18+ months.

I finally dragged it back out. I'm only missing one piece to complete it. So it's a matter of figuring out the mechanics of this build to make it realistic.

A link to the rules. I'm not certain if the front wheels I have are 15" or 16". So I'm not certain if this car would be able to run at Wildwood in October as it is being done. As well as it doesn't have the requisite "roll bar" that they require there.

So here's the body and I have several baggies of parts.

I still need to figure out the front axle assembly... and need to order the exhaust from RMoM.

We started some remodeling work at our house. It started simple, and got more complicated. Got into the wiring, which we paid 6k for an electrician to put in a new panel.

The "handyman" who's supposed to pull 4 cadet heaters, he's pulled two but hasn't patched the sheetrock. Removed the fireplace and a wall, is still farting around with interior wiring. The electrician told him to staple the wiring, replace 2 plugs... he's been messing with the wiring for almost a month.

He hasn't finished the framing or the sheetrock.

He still has painting and the floor to do.

He's been here over 2 months and I swear on all that is holy, he's just doing the same thing over and over and not finishing.

All I want is my #@#!!! Ceiling and walls...

I'm not made of money, no fortunate son here!

Why I'm slow getting back to this... it WILL get done!

Great that you are up and build.

My TROG project has also been put on hold for life due to some health issues and I have ordered myself to build on other things until I am fully back on track.
