cargostar Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 (edited) Here are a couple of trucks I'm working on. The first is a 1600-1900 S-Series. This is a "I" series cab for the newer Paystars, and the 9000 series. This is a "NGV" cab. It is used on 4000, 7000, ProStar, and LoneStar Chassis. Here is the NGV cab mocked up with the start of a LoneStar hood. Edited October 10, 2009 by cargostar
broch Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 The Lonestar hood looks really great! Think thats one of the best looking trucks today! Have seen the Harley Davidson edition of it and THAT should have been made as a model truck kit! Good luck with the work!
mountaindewd Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Cargostar, That's quite an endeavor you have there. Looks good. Les
mackinac359 Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Great work on the cabs and the Lonestar hood !! Tim
cargostar Posted May 10, 2009 Author Posted May 10, 2009 (edited) Thanks for the encouragement. I realized after I had driven this one, I had to build one! Edited May 10, 2009 by cargostar

Kostas Parchas Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 W O W ! ! ! ! ! ! What are you doing there? That is amazing!!! Your scrachbuild skills are far away. Waiting to see this ready, keep us posted!!! did you bought it or test drive it????? Kostas.
Jim B Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 You know, maybe it's just me, but that LoneStar is so ugly that I just might have to have one on my shelf. Sure is different. I've never actually seen one in real life.
airhorn Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Great work. The Lone Star is one mean looking truck...ready for anything that's thrown at it. Of course I'm an IHC fan anyway. Win
ABC Auto Industry Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Whoa...the Lonestar looks weird. It looks like it could be in the next Transformers movie or something.

Waiting to see this ready, keep us posted!!! did you bought it or test drive it????? Kostas. I wish I could buy it!!! Taking it for a test drive was all I could afford!!! 525hp Cummins and 13 speeds, got up to 85 fairly quick. Drove better than most late model cars! If I can get it right, I will be casting them.
SpreadAxle Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 You know, maybe it's just me, but that LoneStar is so ugly that I just might have to have one on my shelf. Sure is different. I've never actually seen one in real life. It looks strange as a daycab. I've seen a few . I do think it looks better with a van/reefer in tow.
Chuck Most Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 That's it... I'm finding out where you live and robbing you blind!
