Very nice!  Thanks for sharing!  I could actually see myself building that without any modifications at all!

I would!.... Put a pair of slicks out back and front runners up front....😁

Any update information on this kit yet and box art

Box art has been posted in this thread along with CAD images of the kit in development.

Sounds like the '64 Comet kits first shipment has or is about ready to hit the shores here.  Sorry, don't know which version it is.  Given the time to get it into the distribution system and to dealers, shouldn't be too much of a wait left.....TB

It will be the version you didn't want, and the moderators may need to be called in. 😁

(I'll probably get both, so it doesn't matter to me).

I can't wait to see how well the new '64 Comets lend themselves to kitbashing with the current '65 Comet kits.

As the 1:1 cars have identical shells, it's a safe bet they'll be using the interior bucket and chassis from their '65 comet for their stock version; with, of course, a '64 dash most likely heisted from the craftsman amt '64. The cad pics show that they re using the '66/'67 firewall copied from the amt comet/fairlane as well with the modified chassis plate.

If someone wasn't  taking advantage of the heavy lifting done by someone else, there's a pretty good chance we wouldn't be seeing the variety of new kits we are now  😜

... not that it makes it right, but it's plain one manufacturer needed the boost when it became evident their design staff wasn't quite up to par on a particular truck project. Their other projects seem to be working out well.
