Would not surprise me if AMT tried to duplicate it. Greens were the rage back then.

In addition to the beautiful paint work and finish, the engine and chassis detailing is all very realistically done. These cars defiantly represented a factory hot rod of the day. Thank you! I had a little extra motivation on this one. My dad talked to me about this car so many times. I am reminded of a story her told me about the ‘whip’ CB antenna he mounted on the rear bumper and while at a traffic stop as he rolled through the antenna was bobbing back and fourth and hit the police officer at the stop in the face…even though it was not intensional was started screaming at my dad. My dad said he took off hard and laid rubber down with the officer shaking his fist at him….My mother confirmed this story to be true! Lol 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted Wednesday at 03:33 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:33 AM Beautifully done. Great realism. Excellent work. 1
STU111 Posted Wednesday at 09:58 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:58 AM You’ve done a superb job of replicating at scale, a car that obviously means a lot to you. Your Dad had great taste in cars, would have been awesome to drive out of the dealership in this one. Top notch. 👍🏻👍🏻 1
