michelle Posted July 10 Posted July 10 this is a replica of the 72 vh valiant charger xl driven by the character michael ryan in the classic aussie tv series RYAN staring rod mullinar as michael ryan a former police officer now private investigator the show ran for 39 episodes from 73 to 74 and was produced by crawford production for the seven network it had a crossover episode with another long running aussie cop series called homicide in one episode ryan's charger got submerged under water almost up to the windows he would get another one same color but with a different plates the body is resin printed the interior pan and chassis and rims and tires and front windshield came from my parts boxes i made the figurine of ryan using a g scale model railroad passenger figurine i painted the body rust-oleum bright coat copper the interior i painted rust-oleum 2x flat black primer i hand made the front and back plates i have the ryan theme song playing in the background of the video 1972 Chrysler vh valiant charger xl from Ryan .mp4 6
XYHARRY Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Very cool Charger there Michelle, it reminds me of my Valiant Charger. I don't recall ever seeing this show but at that age (6-7yrs) I wasn't aloud to watch those type of programs. Well done on your 3d model. 1

STU111 Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Nice work Michelle,👍🏻 I’ve always loved the shape of the Aussie Chargers. I’m aware of the old TV show this Charger is from, but, like David, I was not old enough to stay up late enough to watch it. 😄 1
