One obscure photo, not the best in clarity.

Dr. Don Tarr #37 Red Coca Cola 1969 Charger 500 reappears.

Built the #37 out of the parts bin.  About the only items that were a pair or set has to be the engine block, rims, backing plates and tires.  Everything else were source deep with in the parts bin from years of accumulation from assorted kits.

The body is a Revell Charger Daytona.  +See 1st picture+   Instead of splicing at the front of the doors up along the engine cowl,  I took the Charger Daytona (CD) hood and made a mark on each side of the hood that aligned with the center of the front wheel well, removing the frt clip of the CD. Using the same hood, I did the same procedure for a 69 Charger , removing it frt clip & then attaching it to the CD body. Very minimum putty & sanding require. Reinforce the fender graft applying plastic strips underneath the front fenders.

The decals were made STS  Scale Model Decals.  Terry Borchers did a wonderful job in resurrecting a long fogotten echo and was most pleasant to deal with. Decals laid down with no issues and really bought the #37 to life!

Testors Gloss Red and and assortment of flat , satin and Gloss black did the rest.

Enjoy and question welcomed.... Chuck

And as always....a few extras from the "archives"...
