Convertible boot ID

Anyone recognize this boot?  Came with a 65 Imperial but pretty sure it's incorrect for the Imp.  Thanks!

maybe 63-64 Ford Galaxie boot ?

Either '63 Galaxie or '63-'64 Mercury.  '64 Galaxie boot is shaped differently in the area where it meets the rear seat.

The 63 Galaxie is close but it has kind of a hump across the width.  Has ribs like the Merc though.  Thanks

I believe the recent reissue Merc kits have that boot in the box.  Before you slice off the Merc roof for a convertible, know that the upper part of the windshield frame is different.  I believe you could still make the kit windshield work though.

The boot came on a 65 Imperial cv I got years ago and I knew it wasn't right but the Imp got put away til recently and I was wondering where I might be able to use it if I could ID it.  No plans for a convertible Merc right now, but I know I have a boot for it anyway 😂

I thought early Ford or maybe Mercury As I have both 63-64 Fords And Mercury conv builders

 

And recognized the ribs in it
