1972coronet Posted August 3 Posted August 3 First time I remember seeing "0w" viscosities , I thought it was a typo : 0w-30 ???? That was just a spank past 20 years ago. Now there's 0w-8 ! Tight tolerances are one thing -- C.A.F.E. standards rubbish is another. May as well just recommend 3-in-1 oil and be done with it ! 2 1

Now it has me thinking on oil for when I build my new engine for my truck. Damn and here I thought I could run with what I knew, and the oil game has changed so much. 3
Goose1957 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Interesting and informative video. All I know about oil viscosity is that I had to use thicker Penzoil in my Scout to keep the valve cover gaskets from leaking, lol. Jeff 1
