M W Elky Posted September 1 Posted September 1 (edited) I built this box stock before the Butch Leal book came out . I kinda wish I had put crager s/s wheels on it . These are really nice building kits I highly recommend them . This back cover photo is probably when he won at indy until next time thanks for looking , Mike Edited September 2 by M W Elky Spelling 11

Maurice Henderson Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Mike, Your display area is unreal bro..You definitely have been building the covers a while..There's got to be 200 or more models that you have built..Congratulations my friend.
Mike 1017 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Again, a Great build of a NHRA Legend. LUV your display. I showed it to my wife with my comment ""See my display is nothing to brag about"
Old Buckaroo Posted Sunday at 04:25 PM Posted Sunday at 04:25 PM Impressive as always. Thanks for showing the collection !
papajohn97 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Nice job (as always!) Mike on this '65 C.F. You did a particularly excellent job on the large white Mobius decals, not an easy task to apply/ align/ smooth out and not tear. I'm a big Butch Leal fan and got to meet him a few years ago at a "Nitro Revival" event in Irwindale, CA, really nice guy. I'll have to look for that book. Also thanks for posting your massive car model collection/ man cave. I would love to spend an afternoon pulling each one off the shelf and examining each with my 3X readers.
