ismaelg Posted Tuesday at 12:28 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 12:28 AM Hello, GASP!!!! 😲 John, are you suggesting to remove the mirror mountings for a cleaner window line???? Well, Great minds think alike!!!! Stay tuned for my idea on the mirrors. Testarossa anyone? Thanks, Ismael 1
ismaelg Posted Tuesday at 01:50 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 01:50 AM Hello, It certainly does! I originally thought of mounting the mirrors up high like a Testarossa... But I don't think they look right. Having them been a small manual mirror, maybe. But I want the convenience of a modern power/heated mirror. I think a more conventional location looks better on this car, somewhere around this area, or maybe even slightly lower. What do you think? Thanks, Ismael 3
Big Messer Posted Tuesday at 03:11 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:11 AM (edited) I find these mirrors somewhat bulky. I searched and found some more querying "door mounted rear view mirrors". But being a concept car, who would prevent you to use cameras?. Edited Tuesday at 04:49 AM by Big Messer better english 1
NOBLNG Posted Tuesday at 03:14 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:14 AM The roof is too narrow to mount those mirrors up high. They look out of place there in my opinion. 1
Rod666 Posted Tuesday at 08:11 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:11 AM Ismael, that is a lapping film is your hand?

Hello, That is just a scrap strip of clear styrene with a small piece of transparent tape because my fat fingers were not allowing to take a proper picture. 🤣 Thanks, Ismael 1
dino246gt Posted Tuesday at 01:53 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:53 PM I like the idea of cameras for mirrors. Here's how they look inside, although this is a central driver, simple little screens, easy to scratch build for the cameras. And here's how they look outside, also simple to scratch build. I love what you're doing to the Atlantic!
Big John Posted Tuesday at 06:33 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:33 PM (edited) Lower is definitely better, perhaps some indy car mirrors from the 90s. Actually I like the 1976 Ferrari F1 mirrors. Edited Tuesday at 06:55 PM by Big John additional info
ismaelg Posted Wednesday at 12:28 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 12:28 PM Hello, Tried multiple mirrors. Here are some of them. Honestly, been a big car, a small mirror doesn't work. At the end, the kit's mirror looks the best to me. Now I need to decide a final location. Thanks, Ismael
