I noticed that too, along with the Stranger Things Camaro not having chrome. I hope this isn't cost cutting from Revell.

If plating affects the cost - and the retail price - that much, then ixnay on the chrome. 

Most of Revell's [ et al.] target seems to be folks like us. A good percentage of us will strip plating from the majority of the brightwork anyhow. 

That being said ; I too noticed the absence of plated parts in this edition , vs. the prior reissue ( 2WD, with camper shell ) .

Revell wants you to buy the can of  chrome spray paint is my guess !

My kit arrived yesterday, already have some ideas for different tires and some additional off road lights for it. Gonna have to figure out some different bumpers, have a winch I want to install on the front.
