Anyone else having trouble to get into their PayPal account? I type in the six numbers it tells me to image.png.ae4fefe3a8fe7d7370c07d4284123a73.png

And then it fails no matter how many times I try. All I can do is Submit feedback which says that the challenge isn't working.

Haven't had the problem today, but the oh so mo' better "two-step authentication" process is just a useless PITA as far as I'm concerned.

Just a bell with a whistle attached to give the illusion of better "security".

Then again, I'm not a fool whose security practices are just downright sloppy, like using the same password for everything, or letting Google or some other who-knows-who-has-access-to-it app "manage my passwords".

Like, who is really that lazy and stupidly trusting enough to do that?

Anyway, good luck with your problem.

If it's site-wide, they'll fix it pretty quick.

I find that PayPal overall works quite well, most of the time.

Yeah, this type of authentication is getting out of hand.  Looks like you are using a smart phone. Can you try logging in using a "regular" computer?

I just tried logging in on a computer and I can see that they did change things.  Even before I login a popup showed instructing me to  slide a slider to the right to verify I'm a human. After that I got the regular login prompt.  Looks like more and more companies are trying to prevent AI-based hacking.

I've been doing it on my PC. I never do it from the phone. It used to send me a text to my phone for the two step authentication. It does this right on the PayPal page that's bookmarked on my PC.

EDIT: I finally found a way around it. I just had to create a new password, now its working the way it did before.
