dust collectors Posted October 12 Posted October 12 This is a long stalled project that I recently decided to revisit. Motor is the blown Olds from the amt willies. Wheels are parts box steelies and rear pie crust slicks are from the Tosca Ford Fairlane kit if I'm not mistaken. Plans are to finish it in primer with a gutted interior to resemble a low buck build from the early sixties. Not going to go crazy on this one just going to have some fun and hopefully build some momentum as winter approaches. Thanks for looking. 4 1
Zippi Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Very kewl looking build Jeff. I built one this past year but it was modified a lot.
dust collectors Posted October 14 Author Posted October 14 Thanks everyone, It's going to be nice to finally wrap this one up. Got it in primer and will sand the body a little and do some light weathering. First I need to make motor mounts and cut a slot in the back of the hood. 2 1
Old Buckaroo Posted October 14 Posted October 14 You got the highest praise you can ever get on this project this morning - my wife walked by and saw it, stopped and said that is one of the "coolest projects ever"! I like it also as it just has the right look for what you're going after. 1
dust collectors Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Was hoping to be finished with this one by now but carving time out for it has been tough. I did manage to make some motor mounts and I'm liking where the motor sits. I just cut the mounts off the Willy's frame I took the motor from and mounted them on the Anglia's. I also shortened the driveshaft. Baby steps but progress nonetheless.
