This is a long stalled project that I recently decided to revisit. Motor is the blown Olds from the amt willies. Wheels are parts box steelies and rear pie crust slicks are from the Tosca Ford Fairlane kit if I'm not mistaken. Plans are to finish it in primer with a gutted interior to resemble a low buck build from the early sixties. Not going to go crazy on this one just going to have some fun and hopefully build some momentum as winter approaches. Thanks for looking.

Very kewl looking build Jeff.  I built one this past year but it was modified a lot.

Thanks everyone, It's going to be nice to finally wrap this one up. Got it in primer and will sand the body a little and do some light weathering. First I need to make motor mounts and cut a slot in the back of the hood.

You got the highest praise you can ever get on this project this morning - my wife walked by and saw it, stopped and said that is one of the "coolest projects ever"!

I like it also as it just has the right look for what you're going after.

Was hoping to be finished with this one by now but carving time out for it has been tough. I did manage to make some motor mounts and I'm liking where the motor sits. I just cut the mounts off the Willy's frame I took the motor from and mounted them on the Anglia's. I also shortened the driveshaft. Baby steps but progress nonetheless.

Finding bench time has been tougher than I'd like but still making a little progress here and there. I started cutting the hood too make room for the motor to breath. Once the engine in glued in place I'll dial the hood in. I altered the Ford kits headers by cutting off the goofy oversized openings and replaced them with some shortened four into one resin pieces from R&MCoM. I also managed to cut some some yellow plastic sheet hoping to replicate plexi glass. Debating on wiring this one, thanks for looking.

Not too much to report but still making progress. I couldn't help but notice the placement locator for the gas pedal is damn near on the passenger side so I went ahead and decked that down. I know these cars were small but that seemed off so I'll be addressing that. I also started to recreate the Spalding "flame thrower" dual point distributor. Whether or not this thing gets wired is hinging on how that turns out.

I’ve only ever built one of these anglias and found it very fussy to assemble as are most of these early 60’s era Revell kits . I think you made a good choice on using the blown olds engine the paint colors on it give it a just right right patina. The collector swap on the headers also came out really good . Also who knew how good the black steel wheels and grey primer would look together I guess you did . Maybe add a Spaulding flame thrower decal on the lower front fender just a thought
