Revell GMC Van "Stranger things"

Exactly. Looking at various facebook groups, people are constantly posting about building the Revell Blazer. Not that this is absolute proof that the kit has been a success, but I see the Blazer being built more than many other recently released/re-issued kits.

What ever Revell's "Grand Plan" was, it seems to have hit the rocks. Letting Europeans decide on American Subjects. tends to go that way...I am saddened.

I had hoped that the Blazer Tooling anyway might get many more extensions. But the Half-Hearted GMC Jimmy, does not look like it will be a hit.

We will see when they start to show up at Ollie's.

The Blazer is actually cheaper than the 40% off at HL. Combine it with a few other kits and the shipping charges make it a wash when you consider the time and cost to drive to a store and HOPE they have it in stock.

I am sure the Blazer tooling will be used to create more kits and not just Blazers and Jimmys, the way the kit was designed seems to indicate that. Given the popularity of the squarebody trucks and little to choose from for 81-91 Model years, my bet is that they will develop more variations of the tooling.
