I was looking through boxes of old papers and photos and found these from a car show I went to at a local car dealer many years ago. John Force, Tony Pedregon, and Johns funny car. Kind of interesting that John was driving a Ford but his sponsor was a Chevrolet dealer (Don Steves).

Wonder how he is doing with his recovery from the accident.

Don Steves Chevrolet sponsored Force for a long time. I remember seeing his Mustang at the dealership back in '97, '98 ( I worked there from 1994-1998 ).

Nice, friendly feller, too.

The few times they talk to him at NHRA events, he seems real good. I sense a little mellowness in his manner but otherwise it's the same old John Force.

Love John, such a character, and one of the top funny car drivers I have a ton of respect for, the other is Cruz Pendregon. I lived for the weekends as a kid to watch these two face off. Win or lose they were class acts.

Thank you for sharing the update!

Missed seeing John at the Fall Nationals last weekend. Win, lose or draw he’d always ride his scooter up and down the access lane and wave.
