junkyardjeff Posted October 26 Posted October 26 This came from a thrift store missing the bumpers, hood and two wheels. It took two years to find the parts but today I found the bumpers and it will start when I figure out the colors I want. 7
lordairgtar Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Are the bumpers a regular product from Atomic City? Or are they randomly available? 1
ewetwo Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Nice. I just got a 65 Wildcat with a bunch of stuff. Needs a hood. Front seats. And the lower rockers need work and don't know if my ability is up to what it needs. Looks like putty and glue.

junkyardjeff Posted October 27 Author Posted October 27 I have a extra front bumper if anyone needs one,I got on a bidding war on ebay and payed too much for it.
RDean58 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 You can use the readily available AMT 66 Wildcat for the interior because AMT didn’t update the interior for the 66. In other words, the 66 has a 65 interior. you can also use the engine from the 66 kit as it is identical to the one in the 65 annual. No luck on the hood though as the 66 hood is different from the 65. I have a bout three 65 wildcats to work on.
junkyardjeff Posted October 28 Author Posted October 28 Color will be Tamiya pearl light blue and found a 66 engine on Ebay that I will get for parts.
bobss396 Posted Saturday at 09:40 AM Posted Saturday at 09:40 AM I see a lot of old parts on eBay. I was able to find better bumpers (pre Revell chrome spray) and an up-top convertible roof for a 1962 Ford kit.
