60 El Camino

Picked up a complete body a couple years ago but with no chassis or interior,today I picked up a parts car with a crappy body that has a correct chassis, interior, windows and bed cover.

Nice!. Now is there a scale junkyard that sells parts (not somebody trading or selling one or a few, a REAL junkyard)?

I have a '60 El Camino kit that I built long ago and shortened the bed. Based on my skills at the time it is more than a little disappointing to look at today. I'm looking forward to your El Camino rehab for ideas to maybe someday repairing my own.

Yes there is,Atomic City in the Dayton Ohio area.

I have a body with the roof cut off.

Is the body without the roof an AMT '60 El Camino and what condition is it in? What would you consider for a trade?

Yes its a AMT or SMP and will post a picture.  Modified the chassis to use the thin axles so I could use a set of rims I had,I picked up a set of bumpers for a car and had the panel below the bumper that I was told is hard to find and shold be togather this week.

The wheelbase looks short with the original chassis so painting the 59 chassis and see how it looks.
