Donny Posted yesterday at 07:53 AM Posted yesterday at 07:53 AM I'm at the point of having to choose the body color on the BMW. I was going to go with semi gloss black, but after doing the spoon test I'm not sure, it just doesn't grab me, doesn't look how I thought it would. Failing this, I thought a steel blue gloss. Opinions please. Don
Bugatti Fan Posted yesterday at 09:38 AM Posted yesterday at 09:38 AM Gorgeous looking car, but I wouldn't be wanting to go over any speed bumps or hit any potholes in it ! 1
Donny Posted yesterday at 09:54 AM Author Posted yesterday at 09:54 AM Thanks Les, that purple one is WOW, don't think my airbrush skills are quite up to that, the last one, gunmetal is beautiful too. Have you built one of these, the body is a real challenge - well for me that is. Don

Donny Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago I have to admit I like small nippy fast cars, guess it reflects on the era I was brought up in. Big American cars were almost non existing in Oz, actually cars generally were in short supply, recovering from WW2. My dad somehow found a '32 that my mum and myself used to push start every morning - in Melbourne winters, those 6 volt systems were pretty poor to say the least. Now you know why I picked it to restart my modelling and kicked in some memories. As a apprentice mechanic, with little money, my first car was an Austin 7, all my "wealthy" mates were driving MG's, Austin Healy's etc where you guys were driving Fords, Pontiac's and the like. We just got to dream about them and hot rods. Don 1
