I am replicating my current 1:1 ride. Being that the Revell kit is an automatic and non sunroof car, I picked up the Revell Street Burner Magnum SRT just for the sunroof, and a Texas 3d Customs Tremec 6060 for a Mustang to make the conversion. I also have a VCG Resins pistol grip shifter for it. I will have to modify the bell housing to match the Hemi.

After 2 hours of carefully cutting with the back side of a #11 blade, and filing over and over, it fits. This would be the major make or break pitfall of the build, I believe

Got some color on it, Scalefinishes 2009 Dodge Brilliant Black Pearl. I only have one coat of 2K clear on, gun messed up at trunk area. That’s ok, I planned on wet sanding, putting on the carbon fiber stripes and re clearing

So, when I bought this kit on EBay, it was supposed to be just opened box, not started. This was not the case. It seems a child, or someone not versed in tube glue usage got to it. The engine was assembled, with exhaust manifolds on backwards, of course with piles of glue, and let’s not forget, just dip the whole engine in Testors gloss black enamel. They also painted the chassis pan and floor pan/ engine compartment very heavily with same paint. After a week of soaking in Super Clean and scrubbing, I still have this:IMG_7054.jpeg.6f9fc7ca20031ef54be68f36ad176a47.jpeg
