I am replicating my current 1:1 ride. Being that the Revell kit is an automatic and non sunroof car, I picked up the Revell Street Burner Magnum SRT just for the sunroof, and a Texas 3d Customs Tremec 6060 for a Mustang to make the conversion. I also have a VCG Resins pistol grip shifter for it. I will have to modify the bell housing to match the Hemi.

After 2 hours of carefully cutting with the back side of a #11 blade, and filing over and over, it fits. This would be the major make or break pitfall of the build, I believe

Got some color on it, Scalefinishes 2009 Dodge Brilliant Black Pearl. I only have one coat of 2K clear on, gun messed up at trunk area. Thatโ€™s ok, I planned on wet sanding, putting on the carbon fiber stripes and re clearing

So, when I bought this kit on EBay, it was supposed to be just opened box, not started. This was not the case. It seems a child, or someone not versed in tube glue usage got to it. The engine was assembled, with exhaust manifolds on backwards, of course with piles of glue, and letโ€™s not forget, just dip the whole engine in Testors gloss black enamel. They also painted the chassis pan and floor pan/ engine compartment very heavily with same paint. After a week of soaking in Super Clean and scrubbing, I still have this:IMG_7054.jpeg.6f9fc7ca20031ef54be68f36ad176a47.jpeg
