M W Elky Posted Thursday at 12:31 AM Posted Thursday at 12:31 AM I just thought this would be a neat look at the progression of the funny car in the late 60’s mpc did a pretty good job keeping up with the popularity of the sport back then . I built the 68 car from a Revell body and a polar lights chassis. The custom fade paint job is testors lacquers the decals are SLIXX . The 68 kit with that great box art would make a great reissue. until next time thanks for looking, Mike 7
ColonelKrypton Posted Thursday at 12:42 AM Posted Thursday at 12:42 AM I remember the 67 (according to scalemates) issue of the Color Me Gone funny car with the neat cut away x-ray view and the MPC 67 issue of Mr. Unswitchable. I always wanted the Color Me Gone Charger but I did get the Mr. Unswitchable GTO. Good memories. Wouldn't it be nice if both were re-issued again? Thank you for sharing. cheers Graham 1 1
