J.B. Customs Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Cab fresh out of paint didn’t turn out to bad a couple of spots that will need touching up but all in all I think I like it well enough to go ahead and start this build right off the bat I can see shorting the frame and swapping out the Detroit with the auto stick for a Cummins with a manual shift. Just brainstorming for now 6

J.B. Customs Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM Author Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM Well I took an 1” out of the frame rails witch if my calculations are correct this should give this build a 216” wheel base (center of front axle to the center of the rear tandems) I am thinking I should have taken out another 1/2” will see how it goes 3
Rockford Posted yesterday at 10:03 PM Posted yesterday at 10:03 PM Good idea, this is a great kit, especially for AMT, but the chassis length is an issue. Was its first incarnation as Tyrone Malone's transporter chassis? That would explain it. 1
gotnitro? Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Beautiful paint scheme ! The revised frame length looks good to me, but I like the longer look better on an aerodyne cab
J.B. Customs Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Stuck at home last night in the first snowstorm of the year so I worked a little bit on the frame this is the first time building the Aerodyne kit everything went together smoothly hardly any flashing on the parts really like the rear suspension. I am trying to keep this build simple as possible very little modifications besides shortening the frame rails and swapping the motor 1
