Zen Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Kind of local hobby shop is closing down at the end of the year. Always had a good model selection plus everything else, Cobblestone hobbies in Holland, MI. Everything is @ 40% off currently minus the RC stuff, spray paints are BOGO, still a good selection of Tamiya left. 1
Shark Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Always hate to hear that happening. We lost ours that was the next county over a few years ago. Now I have to drive over 1 hour to get to one. 1
meechum68 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I hate hearing that as well. My local shop is closing, the owner is retiring and atm, he's at 20% off everything. He will be having a major discount on Black Friday. He is still open to a buyer if he can find one between now and March 1st. I hope he can find a buyer to keep it open, if not I will have to buy at the Tulsa Hobby shop I visit, and buy off the internet.
Dave Van Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Roanoke Rails hobby shop is closing next week. LOTS of trains but a full line of all plastics, supplies and Tamiya paints. Been going since 1988. Sad but I get it. 1
TECHMAN Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago SAD news always..... Always hate to hear of any hobby shop's closing. Having moved into an area that does not have a "local" hobby shop, and now requiring at least a 45 minute (one way) drive to buy any type of model/related-item, the news of any closing regarding a hobby shop, just seems to hit harder......
