The engines are real, Amazon sell's them as well. There are some videos on you tube that show it being ran and compared to another real 1/6 scale blown race engine.

These have been out for over 15 years, but they were a kit you had to machine yourself. They have flatheads also. Check out your local Model Engeneering Show.
