HankinWisconsin Posted yesterday at 12:06 AM Posted yesterday at 12:06 AM Starting a build on what is certainly the nicest kit that I own, the Moebius '65 Chevy II Gasser. Any tips on this particular kit are much appreciated. 4
Trainwreck Posted yesterday at 12:43 AM Posted yesterday at 12:43 AM Never had this kit but I know you'll make a good job of it Hank. 1
Zippi Posted yesterday at 12:18 PM Posted yesterday at 12:18 PM I really like these old Gassers. Best I can recall is this kit went together really nice. Have fun with it man. 1
bobss396 Posted yesterday at 01:45 PM Posted yesterday at 01:45 PM There is an alternate resin body for it I've seen on eBay. A post body IIRC. I think it's the vendor who sells the Freemont Racing items. 1

Kevin, The eBay version (that I see) has an AWB configuration. There may be others though. https://ebay.us/m/Am1MUX Hank Edited 20 hours ago by HankinWisconsin Can't spell on Wednesdays.

Andrew McD Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Currently working on this same kit. Check the windshield fit. On mine there was interference between the cowl, windshield, and dash. Some sanding of the lower edge of the windshield was required. On the instruction sheet it appears the rear quarter windows should be installed from the outside but they seem to fit better installed from the inside. The blower ends are upside down. If you install as per instructions the radius of the top of the blower doesn't match the radius of the blower ends. You end up with a straight edge trying to match to a radius edge. I may not be clear the way I'm describing it but look carefully at the way the blower parts fit. Apart from these issues I've been quite impressed with the fit and finish of the kit parts. 1
