Dingo Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 This is a replica of a car I had back in the 70's and used daily and raced on weekends until the cops canned it for me saying the guards where too wide. Note gauge on bonnet for fuel pressure, yep done even back in the 70's nothing new about that trick. Dingo
cruz Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Very cool, I have always liked these Celicas, nice job!!!!
Randy Kern Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Great job on that, Dingo! Boy, does that bring back memories, as I had a '74 Celica ST (bought new for $4,000.00!). I sort of did the tuner thing way back then, with lowering springs, Konis, performance exhaust and wheels & tires. Another one I wish I had back .
Nick F40 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Oh yes this is cool. I love all your 1:1 made into models This one is cool, the same thing I would want to do to and with my car. I like the color and the flares. I always loved these Celicas because
TomA Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Bloody rippa Dingo! Looks the part with the huge flares! I used to have one I raced on a weekend also. A dark blue TA-22. Pitty I still haven't got it, but we say that about most of our past cars eh?
RodneyBad Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 the cops canned it for me saying the guards where too wide. That's funny, i get canned for my Flares not being Big Enough. Looks great.
