CANON PORSCHE 956

Tamiya porsche 956 mostly box stock. I added a Studio 27 photo etch set, some carbon fiber decals, and some plug wires. Also used MFH heat shield in the engine bay. I am considering cutting out some thin sheet aluminum to pot around the turbo/exhaust areas like the 1:1 car has. We will see what happens. Tamiya TS-26 out of the can and Tamiya TS-49 decanted and shot through the airbrush. Just need to clear it, polish it and decal it and it will be done. Here you go.

Yes I did enjoy the kit. This is the second one I built. This is the only 956 out of the recent rereleases that is full detail. The Repsol and Shell are curbsides based on slot car style bodys with the glass molded onto the body which makes it difficult to mask and paint. I would suggest buying it and building it. Check around for prices. I have seen them range from $30 to $40

The Canon 956 is looking great

I just picked up this kit along with Tamiya's photo-etch parts pak.

remember building the Rothsman and Newman 956 years ago

just recently built the Shell, and I too did not like having the "glass' pre-installed...what a pain!!

lookin' forward to watching you complete this model
