Charlie Magers Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 This model was started by John when he was 13 years old. John died shorty after he started this model in 1976. The model was stored in the box until recently when his father asked me to complete the assembly. When I received the model it was painted and partially assembled. I've left as much of John's work as I could.
george 53 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I beleive John would be VERY happy with how well you were able to finish his project. It looks GREAT! VERY NICE build.
RodneyBad Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 That is a great tribute by not redoing it but just finishing what wasn't done. A Really great job. Nice work..
Fletch Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Very Cool Charlie, I have no doubt that his dad will be very pleased with your efforts. Blessings Fletch
