Chariots of Fire Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Been working on the running gear and finally got the transmission and parking brake assembly done. The final sequence will be for the hoisting mechanism and then I can paint the frame for final assembly.
airhorn Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 That's awesome. It's coincidental that a '58 Mack I drove had the same type of emergency brake setup only smaller and the handle was shorter. Win
mardtrp Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Charlie, your a bloody wizard, absolutley incredible craftsmanship. regards Mark
SteveG Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Charlie, It's almost a shame to cover up all that amazing craftsmanship with paint. I'm sure glading your documenting the build up with all those photos. For more of Charlie's incredible work check out his Photobucket Album at the link below. mardtrp Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Charlie, after viewing your progress pic's, I think it's about time that you were nominated to be elevated to that exceptional class of model makers, and have your name mentioned with the likes of Gerald Wingrove. For those who do not know who Gerald Wingrove is, then do a google and have a look at his models, then take another look at what Charlie has accomplished. You sure are doing it justice, brilliant work.
